How To Upgrade Peachtree Accounting

Do you have an older version of Peachtree Accounting?

Well, if you want to upgrade your Peachtree 2009, 2010 or earlier, you can do so to Peachtree 2011.

Peachtree 2011 is the most current version of the Peachtree accounting software.

It doesn’t matter if you have your Peachtree software installed to a network or a standalone computer. The upgrade process is the same for both.

You have two options to purchase your Peachtree upgrade – you can buy the installation disk or do it online so that you can download the installation file.

Either pop in the installation disk in your computer or download the installation file and double click it.

The installation screen will automatically pop up on your screen. When it does, you need to click Install Peachtree.

It will auto-detect your older Peachtree version and ask if you want to upgrade. Click on Yes to move on.

Just follow the instructions that you see on the screen to finish the install.

Restart the computer when it tells you to. Take the disk out of your computer if you were using a disk.

Open up the new Peachtree on the computer and click Open Existing Company. Choose your company.

At this point, you are prompted to back up your data because the program is ready to convert your files to the new version. One the backup is done, the conversion starts. When the complete message appears on the screen you can close it.

Now your Peachtree Accounting is upgraded to 2011.
